Rated 5 out of 5 by metalman3006 Great for trolling
While these poles are flexible enough the extra bit of rigidity helps to set hooks more consistently

Rated 5 out of 5 by KYCrappieman Nice rod
I purchased 8 of these specifically for spider rigging. I rig mine with a 1 oz sinker to keep the lines straight down. with this weight it puts a slight bend in the rods and gives you great sensitivity. Additionally the rods have some backbone to them for pulling in the big slabs!! I really enjoyed the rods in this set up and would highly recomend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oldspaghetti Trolling Rod
Has enough strength for trolling for kokanee and trout with plenty of rod action to watch the crank bait wiggle the rod tip. The tip is lighter color which helps. The rod at 14 feet can be a little awkward to bring fish in but it keeps me out of the other lines.

Rated 4 out of 5 by coolcat Really fill a much needed niche for crappie
These rods will outperform every rod out their for what they are meant to do . I have 8 of them but only usually use 6 at a time when trolling cranks by myself, 3 off each side . When I have a fishing partner I still use only 6 but will throw in two 7'6" med cranking rods to the mix also . I also use them when it's windy for bottom bouncing over lighter rods to help reduce all the crazy bouncing that goes with windy days . They also handle 4-6 oz. weights for those days you want to troll cranks behind heavy weights . I would give these rods a 5 star rating except the eyes are a little flimsy so they get a 4 even though I havn't broke any yet .These rods have really made me a much better crappie hunter than I ever thought I could be . If you are serious about crappie fishing then you will want at least two 12'ers and at least one of each of the rest .
