Rated 5 out of 5Â by Joel1116 Great Rod for Crappie
I wanted a rod to fit my open reel for fishing for Crappie. I matched this rod with my crappie reel and it has made a difference in being able to detect those lazy bites, great use with bobber, wish I had purchased one before now. I like having this rod in the light profile and it really meets all my expectations and has allowed me to hook more fish than I use to.

I have hunted for some time a 6 ft. rod that would match up with my Zebco New Omego 2 Pro Spincast reel. This is it. The rod is light, well balanced and sensitive. I look forward to catching a lot of crappie on it and highly recommend it to others.

All I can say is it's about time someone came out with a one piece 6' light action casting rod. I use the Zebco Omega Z02 over a spinning reel for crappie and have had a major problem finding a casting rod to match my needs. Not any more! I bought one thinking this was going to be another bulky, dead feeling casting rod and was very surprised at what I found when I opened the package. I liked it so much that I ordered another one for my second rod/reel combo. So, if your looking for a light action 6' one piece casting rod that is perfect for crappie, you just found it.
