Purchased crappie rod as a secondary rod, but later moved it to number one spot. Graphite material made the rod much lighter to handle and the action and feel was great.

My most favorite rod ever for Crappie frishing. I love each and every aspect of the rod. I can detect any crappie bitting and it can even handle with ease the occasional channel cat, small flathead, walleye, white bass and hybrids throw at it. You won't be dissapointed with this rod!

have a crappie max i purchased from the bass pro in rancho cucamomga, ca. in a 7 footer. use it for float tube'n for crappie alot. problem is we have alot of catfish that like crappie jigs. have had the rod bent in half with no problems but this rod is VERY SENSITIVE to the lightest tap of crappie, well balanced, and light. have it teamed up with a bass pro micro lite elite. you can't beat this combo.

The rod I have is 8 ft long - but has enough backbone to handle any size crappie you might encounter - the tip is good for jig fishing and the rod feel well balanced. I enjoy using it and it is one of the two main rods I use whenever I am out fishing for crappie.
