Crappie fishing has come a long way. What used to be a family-based live bait fishery now supports high-profile tournaments that draw the best anglers from around the country. This exposure has brought a ton of deadly new crappie-catching techniques into play, many of which require specialized gear. That's where Crappie Maxxâ„¢ Rods really shine. They're designed by the sharpest crappie anglers in the business, to handle everything from tightlining to spider-rigging to traditional live bait systems.  So no matter how you prefer to chase your slabs, in Crappie Maxx you'll find a rod that's specially made to make your day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Product Purchased crappie rod as a secondary rod, but later moved it to number one spot. Graphite material made the rod much lighter to handle and the action and feel was great. April 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Rod My most favorite rod ever for Crappie frishing. I love each and every aspect of the rod. I can detect any crappie bitting and it can even handle with ease the occasional channel cat, small flathead, walleye, white bass and hybrids throw at it. You won't be dissapointed with this rod! Rated 5 out of 5 by SUPER TOUGH have a crappie max i purchased from the bass pro in rancho cucamomga, ca. in a 7 footer. use it for float tube'n for crappie alot. problem is we have alot of catfish that like crappie jigs. have had the rod bent in half with no problems but this rod is VERY SENSITIVE to the lightest tap of crappie, well balanced, and light. have it teamed up with a bass pro micro lite elite. you can't beat this combo. August 1, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Rod The rod I have is 8 ft long - but has enough backbone to handle any size crappie you might encounter - the tip is good for jig fishing and the rod feel well balanced. I enjoy using it and it is one of the two main rods I use whenever I am out fishing for crappie. May 6, 2011

Does this rod have the Cork touch through handle for direct contact with the bank or there a description error? I do not see it in the photo. Also how does this rod compare to Mr. Crappie Wally Marshall Signature Series Crappie Rods?
