Waste of Money Straight out of the package, this thing never worked. A total waste of money. The clicker is apparently broken, and it's not worth the gas to return this thing. Very disappointed, but I'd rather learn my lesson on a $7 piece of Crappie Maxx equipment, than to learn how they cut corners with something more expensive. I will never buy anything from Crappie Maxx again. June 24, 2014
wears out too fast I fish crappie weekly throughout the entire year and this counter has been very handy. After a year of use though, the mechanism is sticking a little bit and every so often it adds 11 instead of just 1. So it doesn't last very long. I'm getting another just because I haven't found a better solution, then I'll take this one apart and see if I can determine what it's problem is. September 10, 2012
Fish counter Just from testing at home, the counter works well. Some reviewers indicated some problems, but this sping will tell for sure. If there is at least 2 people in the boat it has become confusing on how many bluegills, whitebass, or even walleyes we have in the livewell. This will deffintily help! December 18, 2012
Life saver Life saver. With the changing fish and game laws it is good to have one.. one fine and you wish you did. I use several of these counters to keep track of different species. never on the water without them... November 23, 2012
