Just from testing at home, the counter works well. Some reviewers indicated some problems, but this sping will tell for sure. If there is at least 2 people in the boat it has become confusing on how many bluegills, whitebass, or even walleyes we have in the livewell. This will deffintily help!

Life saver. With the changing fish and game laws it is good to have one.. one fine and you wish you did.
I use several of these counters to keep track of different species. never on the water without them...

I fish crappie weekly throughout the entire year and this counter has been very handy. After a year of use though, the mechanism is sticking a little bit and every so often it adds 11 instead of just 1. So it doesn't last very long.
I'm getting another just because I haven't found a better solution, then I'll take this one apart and see if I can determine what it's problem is.

I bought this product for my husband to use for counting samples as part of his job assignment. It stopped working accurately after three uses.
