I've been using the crappie beaver for approximately for 6 or 7 years & I love them they work great... ! It would be awesome if they would make a black / blue beaver as in the VIBRA KING tube. I've had a lot of success with this color. Over all with the crappie beaver I continue to catch lots of big crappie.....

These tiny soft plastics have definately found their way into my fishing arsenal. Not only are they much more durable than a tube jig of comparable size (lasts about ten fish per bait), but they also catch more and bigger fish. They select the larger perch and sunfish from the school, but do not catch the numbers a small tube does. It also gives pressured fish a new bait they have not seen before, triggering strikes. They have a subtle flapping on the fall and excel when fish are on a crayfish bite. This bait is also great for pressured smallmouths feeding on crawdads. The best choice for jighead is a 1/16oz ballhead, but a 1/32oz works in a pinch. I like the striaght pumpkinseed color (looks very much like a true crayfish) when dragged or swam along the bottom.

I picked out the Crappie Beaver in Red with Florescent tail last fall. I used it for the 1st time this spring because nothing was working. I caught 4 smallmouths, a pike, 6 rockbass and a 3.5 pound Walleye, all in 2 hours. . Over the next 2 weeks[same spot] I caught more bass and Walleye up to 5 pounds. I don't know what it is suposed to be, but it works!

I think it can. In my review of this bait I stated that I have the best luck with the beaver in heavily pressured fishing areas because its different. This bait may very well be different than what most of the other anglers on the pier are using and may give the fish something new to bite. Pick 2 colors, 1 color you like and 1 color you think the fish would like and try them both. Good Luck!1 of 1
