It was a very bright morning after a bad cold front had passed the night before. I Texas-rigged this bait with a 1/2 oz bullet sinker and pitched it into shallow coontail and cabbage weeds. Despite the terrible conditions, I caught two fish in about an hour. This bait had great action on the fall. One tip for modifying this bait by removing the front 4 pinchers. That way, it falls through the weeds better.

I have used these 4 times .... in Ochobee craw and green pumpkin violet... both colors work well... first fish i caught was a 5lb bass on the Potomac River.. ..2nd trip on Liberty reservoir the smallmouths were hitting it so hard that you couldnt miss the bite ... then they would run with it just like live bait.... amazing.....

This is a great small mouth bait. I did real good on it. Caught 27 small mouth in two nights fishing.
