I fish pretty stained waters so I replaced all the willow blades that came with my spinnerbaits (except for a few to burn just below the surface) with these Colorado blades for added vibration, and they spin great.

Completely satisfied with the product. I would recomend that you also use a barrel swivel to attach the blade to the lure.

I use a #4 but what you need depends on the clarity of the water and how enticeing you want you lure to be. The #4 is about 3/4 inch in width.

I can't find an explanation of what the sizes mean, however, the smallest is 00 and goes 0,1,2 and up. The larger the number, the bigger the blade.

Sizes are as follows (in inches) and refers to the length of the spinner blade0 = 0.5"
1 = 0.6"
2 = 0.75"
3 = 0.9"
4 = 1.25"
5 = 1.5"
6 = 1.8"
7 = 2.0"
