Boat Clamp Fish Basket

The Bass Pro Shops Collapsible Fish Baskets are high-performing and incredibly convenient. Available in a variety of sizes, the Fish Baskets are made tough to keep fish and to help keep catch-thieving critters out. Since the baskets collapse, they can be stored virtually anywhere without taking up much space.

A. Jumbo Fish Basket
A great live box for bass. 19" diameter, height 30" and 3/4" anodized wire. Spring-loaded access gates at top and bottom for easy loading and unloading.

B. Boat Clamp Fish Basket
Features steel clamp that allows fisherman to quickly attach or remove basket from boat. 14" diameter, height 24" and 3/4" mesh.

C. Jumbo Floating Fish Basket
19" diameter, 30'' height, and 3/4" mesh. This floater has been tested and will not sink even if it's full of fish. No other basket can make this claim.

D. Standard Fish Basket
13" diameter, height 18" and 3/4" mesh. World's most famous fish basket. Finest quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than a stringer I love these fish baskets. I've used them countless times when I wasn't quite sure if we were gonna keep the fish or release them because we hadn't caught enough fish yet to decide. The basket is roomy and when you tie a stringer to it you can stick the stringer point in the ground and push the fish out of the shallows and into some deeper water where the fish stand a better chance. I have even tied the basket to my fly fishing vest so when I'm wading I can keep my fish alive and kicking. May 28, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must have creel keeper. First, I want to adress the quality complaints. I have owned this product for years. Mine usually last about 5 years because I abuse them. I leave mine exposed to the weather and they finally rust out. It is my fault., because with the proper maintain they could last for years. Take care of it and it will last. One word of advise, I always put a plastic electrical wire faster on the bottom door so it does not open. I hate to loose fish. Now to the great part about these baskets, they keep the fish alive. I have had over a hundred Bluegill in mine (basket C) and they stil float. I put 3 to 5 pound cats in mine with no problem. I have fited a 8 pound White perch as well. I am going to get basket A this time because it has even more room. I think this is the best way to creel my fish and keep them fresh and alive, that I have found for bank fishing. December 3, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy I have had this basket for 4 years now and I would not fish without it. I suppose if you need to leave it in the lake for months at a time it's not for you, but if you are a normal everyday fisherman and want a good tool to keep your fish alive in, this product is for you. I have had over 25 fish in it and it always floats. September 21, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Baskets will Last I Purchased a Small Floating Basket A While Back,It's been a life saver for My Fishing Trips But as with any fishing gear one must take the time to take care of it, the other reviews complained about rust, well the first thing i do when i get off the lake is put my fish on ice in a separate cooler & hang my Basket up to completly dry before storing it away & before my next trip I check my Basket for rust, holes,or broken lids or springs, to this day Ive never lost a fish in this basket & ive been fishing for close to 35 years, Iam moving up to a jumbo basket cause it holds a lot of panfish & most important IT DOES'NT SINK, take care of your gear & it Will Take care of you. A:
its an alternative to stringers. you catch the fish and store them in this basket until you are ready to leave. major benefit to this is its 99% turtle proof, and used properly 99% escape proof
