Bass Pro Shops Classic 200 Spinning Rod
a worth it purchase
One of the most flexible and bite sensitive poles I ever used a real real good product ecspecily for the price.

Piece of junk
I've owned 2 of these rods. Initially I thought they were a great buy. I really liked the feel of the parabolic action, and they did have a nice balanced feel. Sadly after the 2nd time out the first one a 6'6" rod snapped just below the tip for absolutely no reason. I just made a cast and saw the tip literally break off. I know that sounds weird, but it literally just came apart about 2 inches from the tip
The 2nd rod a 5'6" light action broke in half about 3 months later. I was pulling a soft plastic bait through some weeds and it just snapped. All I can say is you get what you pay for. I cannot recommend this rod to anyone despite only being 10 bucks. The classic 200 rod is a total piece of junk.

This rod is a nice buy in my opinion: it has a sensitive tip with a fair amount of backbone for a spinning rod. It seems to cast great, and I've no major issues so far. I would give it 5 stars but I've yet to really test durability, I might edit my review in a couple months after some more extensive fishing. In short, I think its a nice deal. I've seen a lot worse rods for twice to three times the price.

i bought the 5'6" rod 3 months ago when i forgot mine on vacation and needed a cheap one to use. i chose this one because it was cheap and looked and felt decent.i didnt have any luck while on vacation so i decided to try it out catching crappie when i got home and it performed great. i have caught 15+ crappie on it and a few bream none very large but you can feel the bites from the small fish. it is a good spare rod if you want something cheap.
