Works great for the catfish. The slip locking attachment doesn't come loose keeps from the fish getting off

The concept is solid. The materials are junk. I bought this stringer a year ago because it looked strong. When you're stringing 10-30lb striped bass, you want to be sure they stay and don't break the stringer.
All worked well up until today. I had a 5lb smallmouth on the stringer that was overly excited. He snapped the stringer and swam off.
Not a reliable product. Do not buy.

Fished in Canada last week and put several pike on this stringer and no escapes. Other years they have managed to pop the clips on the stringer and get away. Not with this baby.

Thanks, My favorite stringer 40 years young was stolen last year while Salmon Fishing. I didn't think I would ever find a replacement with the same features. Well you have it and it's exactly what I wanted. Works great on trout,will have to test it on salmon.
