Replacement for Stolen Stringer Thanks, My favorite stringer 40 years young was stolen last year while Salmon Fishing. I didn't think I would ever find a replacement with the same features. Well you have it and it's exactly what I wanted. Works great on trout, will have to test it on salmon. April 25, 2012
Best Purchase Ever I've been using this particular stringer for years, they are hard to find. These stringers are tough and have a safety clip that slides over the stringer clip that keeps catfish from twisting the clips open, which is absolutly great. I used other stringers before I found this one. Now I won't buy any other stringers. I bought 2 of them this time, now none of my fish will get away. That is if I don't get the clip clipped and the safety clip over the clip before the catfish fights his way off by their twisting. These stringers are strong and they last. They are not like any other stringers. June 18, 2011
Tough! Don't let another big fish wiggle off your metal stringer, get the Champ's choice with the slide locking mechanism. These stringers are tough and dependable. I don't use anything else for catfish. February 25, 2009
Good stringer Most metal clip type stringers are made very cheaply and they tend to rust very quickly and are prone to breaking. The nylon rope ones are excellent in avoiding rusting, but I have had the plastic clips fail (open up by themselves) and lose fish. The problem is that the plastic snaps after some use will start bending and as result will not lock properly. This stringer while a metal clip type has a metal latch to secure that clip further. I am so far very pleased with this product. August 18, 2010
