I Just Recently Bought this Pole in the 8ft model and the Catmaxx reel CM80 and lemme tell yall they compliment eachother perfectly. I have bought many poles and reels for catfishing but I have never seen a pole built especially for catfish. This pole could be priced wayyy higher and is a great buy!

I purchased three of these rods for alligator gar angling. I am completely impressed with them and will be buying more. I can not say the same for the reels, but that is a work in progress.

I OWN THE 9' MED/HEAVY SPINNING CATMAXX ROD, ITS A VERY STRONG ROD. MY NINE FOOTER IS PRETTY STIFF. IT HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN. ITS NOT A TEN FOOTER, BUT ITS CLOSE.Answers

No the chart is wrong!!!!! Since it is for BIG catfish the weights (sinkers) will be up to 8oz and some of the listed line weights are wrong, don't try to toss an 8oz sinker with those. Also the 10' rod is sometimes listed as MH and some times H, I am sure it is "H" heavy.A:Â
Man if you read the description it says this pole is made for big catfish and last time I checked Big Catfish weighed 40 + pounds so no its more like the weight size1 year, 2 months ago

I am looking at the 8' MH and wonder if it will cast 3/8oz to 3/4oz lures without too much difficulty.Answers
A:Â
These rods feature a relatively quick tip so as long as your using a line thats good for casting like trilene xl or a smaller braid then yes is will throw the lighter weights without a problem as long as your not throwing a delicate livebait that might be torn from the hook. But the 8' model is one peice, thats something to keep in mind when transportation is an issue.Details:Â
Is it a single piece or multiple pieces.Answers
A:Â
the 8' spinning model is one piece, the rest are two peices.A:Â
