Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quick and easy Having never fished Carolina Rig style before, I thought I'd buy a few and try them out. While it doesn't take a rocket scientist to build a Carolina Rig, these are quick and easy. I'd suggest making up a few leaders ahead of time, snap one on, and fish! June 29, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by EASY CAROLINA GREAT PRODUCT. GETS YOU BACK OUT THERE TO CATCH FISH. June 16, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Neat Product The Carolina Rig is a great way to catch those Hawg Bass, especially when things are slow! This little device gets you ready to go quickly ! I prefer the 3/4 to 1 oz size and it is affordable. Your plastic bait will float up from the bottom and suspend for those hungry bass. Easy to use, strong, great design, has not failed me! Since this product hit, I have fished Carolina Rig style with success! May 20, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not very good. Not very cost effecient. Does not work well at all around objects. I do not recomend this except maybe in a pinch. May 3, 2010

A:
Use it with the wire in place. Secure one end to your reel line. On the other end tie on a leader, (I use the same line type) at least a foot long but longer is better. I use about 16". To the end of the leader attach your hook and plastic bait. The weight will go to the bottom and the bait will float up. Drag it slowly across the bottom. The strike is usually vicious !

how do you fish a carolina rig

Details:
what is the diffrence between carolina rig and a texas rig

A:
A Carolina rig allows the soft plastic worm to be more active, as it has no weight directly against the lure. It will bounce around above the weight and can be a very effective alternative to Texas style.

A:
The plastic bait is rigged about the same way. The difference is using a weight tied to a stop , so it will rest on the bottom. Add a leader to the weight about 16" in length and rig the plastic bait to this leader. The weight will take the rig to the bottom and the leader will allow the bait to float up and suspend. Gets a lot of attention! Bass Pro offersa device called the carolina rig that lets you rig up quickly. Great product.!

A:
A Texas- Rig involves a barrel swivel maybe about 10 inches up the line, while a Carolina- Rig is further up the line and is fished differently. I know this did not answer your question completely, but it should get you started.

A:
The major difference between a C-rig and a T-rig is the placement of the weight in relation to the bait. Here are two articles discussing the specifics of each rig.
