Quicker to rig but plan on rigging much more often. Short wire causes fish to feel weight much more quickly.

Thought it would be better considring considering the application. However, for the price, best to stick in assembling it yourself with bullet weights, etc...

YOU NEED TO LOOK AT THE PRODUCT . ONE END YOU CAN DIRECTLY TIE TO THE LINE AND THE OTHER END TO A LEADER WITH YOUR BAIT PRESENTATION. GOOGLE CAROLINA RIG FOR ILLUSTRATIONSA:Â
Use it with the wire in place. Secure one end to your reel line. On the other end tie on a leader, (I use the same line type) at least a foot long but longer is better. I use about 16". To the end of the leader attach your hook and plastic bait. The weight will go to the bottom and the bait will float up. Drag it slowly across the bottom. The strike is usually vicious !Images for this Answer

what is the diffrence between carolina rig and a texas rigAnswers
A:Â
A Carolina rig allows the soft plastic worm to be more active, as it has no weight directly against the lure. It will bounce around above the weight and can be a very effective alternative to Texas style.Top 1000 Contributor

THE CAROLINA RIG USES A 36-40 INCH LEADER AND SWIVEL WHICH KEEPS THE WEIGHT AWAY FROM THE PLASTICA:Â
The plastic bait is rigged about the same way. The difference is using a weight tied to a stop , so it will rest on the bottom. Add a leader to the weight about 16" in length and rig the plastic bait to this leader. The weight will take the rig to the bottom and the leader will allow the bait to float up and suspend. Gets a lot of attention! Bass Pro offersa device called the carolina rig that lets you rig up quickly. Great product.!Images for this Answer

A Texas- Rig involves a barrel swivel maybe about 10 inches up the line, while a Carolina- Rig is further up the line and is fished differently. I know this did not answer your question completely, but it should get you started.A:Â
The major difference between a C-rig and a T-rig is the placement of the weight in relation to the bait. Here are two articles discussing the specifics of each rig.T-rig: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...
