I use this caddy primarily for ice fishing. It is great for holding pliers, lights, lure boxes, and other tools. I find that since the caddy is the same length as the bucket, the bottom tends to cover in snow. To prevent that, I leave it on the sled when I fish.
the best seven bucks you can spend on ice fishing.

I use the bucket caddy on a seven gallon bucket with the Plano 725 Bucket Top StowAway Organizer on top. Talk about "Being Prepared. When I switch from fresh water to salt water all I need to do is change the stowaway organizer on top. Great for use on the boat, at the shore or fishing from the dock. I carry my rods in my hand until I reach my fishing location. Then I set the rods in the three holders. Plenty of pocket space even to carry a small first aid kit and a small disposiable camera too.
I added velco at the two bottom edges fix to the bucket to prevent the slide down effect.

This bucket caddy is good in keeping your ice fishing equipment organized such as ice rods, rod holders and fishing line. However it has one major flaw on the design. It only has 1 adjustable velcro strap at the top end. You have to tighten it so much in order prevent it from sliding off the bucket so easily. If there was another adjustable strap at bottom end. This would aid the top strap in preventing the caddy from sliding off your bucket.

Awesome product. Carries all your gear as promised BUT it slouches and slides off easy. You have to tighten the top strap as tight as possible , otherwise you'll be pickin your gear up off the ice.

There are 3 narrow pockets, 2 medium size pockets, and one wide. I store 2 rod/reel type in each of the narrow pockets, 2 spool type in each of the medium packets, and 3 of the spool type in the large pocket. There is also plenty of extra room for waxie holders and a small tackle holder.Answers

In the biggest pocket you could fit a tackle box that is 6.5" x 11". I use the zippered pocket with the Plano Compact Side-By-Side Fly Box - Model 1070.A:Â
the very small plano boxes work well in the zippered pocket.1 of 1
