I've had these less than 6 months. One broke this weekend while pulling the fender up. It wasn't stuck on anything! It just broke!
They were turning to dust in about two months. Three months in, nobody could touch them without getting a face full of "rope dust".
I wouldn't even give these to anyone let alone buy them again.

I found these fender whips worked out fine on my pontoon boad. I use them every time I go out on the water.

Terrible product quality. Lasted six months. Ropes became flacky. One rope broke when fender caught between boat and dock in a "no wake zone" no less. My daughter then took another one and pulled on both ends and it snapped in two pieces. As I was taking my fender hangers off other ones, they basically deteriorated and separated in my hands.
