Bass Pro Shops Boss Shad
Quick Fishing FIX
So I'm here in NJ and it is about 60 degrees and another Artic front is about to hit at the second day of spring. No time to break out Kayak and just went to a favorite road side spot.
In one and half hours I landed five bass from the side of the road in 1 to 3 feet of water. All on one BLUEGILL BPS Boss Shad. It is tried and true here.
Only used the one from a new pack. Still in great shape too. Though the bowfin tear them to shreds.
Love this soft bait lure. All four the bass were 2 to 3 pounds. The last one was 5-6 easy.
What a refreshing break between snow storms.

This is a very heavy swim bait with a very small tail, and not a lot of "thump". I have had zero luck with these. The hook is sharp, it casts a mile and the price is low - but I'd gladly pay an extra $10, $20 or $50 at the end of a long, hot unproductive day to catch some fish. Not recommended.

I understand that this is a affordable swim bait, but straight out of the package these plastics have a very strong chemical smell. Also they are extremely sticky with some type of uncured resin. also the paint easily wipes off on my hands. I am sure these could catch fish, unfortunately I will not be using these due to the noted defects. I hate To see this from a bass pro product, I have always loved their plastics.
