Rated 5 out of 5 by Mouldie3 Solid Rod for the price!
I own 3 of these baitcasting rods (7' MH, 6'6 MH, 6'6 M). I've landed a +10lb bass on the 6'6 medium with no issues, and a 9lb bass on the 7'MH. For the price you can't beat these rods, and they've already proved themselves on 2 trophy size bass.

This is the second Bionic Blade rod that I have purchased and I must say that I am very pleased with both purchases. I have some rods that cost twice what these cost but can't really say that I catch more fish using them. The thing that I have found so satisfying about these rods is that they have a lot of backbone with just the right fast tip action that suits my style of fishing.

by AJHauser Decent Rod
This is a decent rod - but I have the same issue with all of my BP BIonic Blade rods - and that is that the enamel (or whatever the clear hard glue is that is used to cover the guide bindings) tends to crack under stress. Still, these are good rods for the money - but keep your eyes peeled and watch for cracks near the guides where they meet the blank that need to be touched up.

This is my 3rd Bionic Blade trigger rod. I have all of the last 3 styles of this rod and the last 2 of the spinning Bionic Blade rods. I have rods from another big outdoor store and 1 or 2 Japanese rods but I always reach for the Blades when I go out in my canoe. I take 1 casting and 1 spinning rod and use them for many techniques and types of lures. These rods are light, sensitive, tough and very comfortable to use for hours. Very well made; my first 2 are 13 yrs. old and still my favorites (the full cork handles get more comfortable with time).
