I went into buy a Carbon lite for top water and left with a Bionic Blade. I bought the 6'6'' medium heavy with a fast action, but the action is more like a moderate action and when trying walk the dog it only moves inches at a time not feet. It is also sensitive enough to feel a fish on the other end and is light so that it won't wear you out. I will buy more of these.

I was very surprised to see that bass pro had made a micro guide pole. I had to check it out. I bought a 6'6" medium pole and a got the matching reel to go with it. The whole set up is extremely light. It seems very durable. The pole could easily compare with Abu Garcia's poles. It is a great buy for what it costs.
