The hose is necessary to pump the water from the pump to the exterior of the boat. Also included is a through the boat exit if you need it.

This is a nice plumbing kit. Can't use it until spring but looks very strong.

I bought a 1985 BlueFin with a cracked Bilge pump and hose. Needed flexibility installing around other hoses and this worked great. Simple and easy to install. Note, I bought this by the foot at the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, Mo. Check your local store.
