Bought two of these to take north in June. Used them last week one completely broke from the post at the bracket. The other broke on the frame itself. It is a very poor purchase

This boat seat is about the flimseyest junk I ever sat on. I installed on my boat and sat on it and almost fell over backwards Very flimsey plastic base .It might hold a big man from China where it was made.It's wide enough and decent foam. however I had to fabricate a 3/4 inch base from plywood to make it work. My old one that I purchased from basspro about 12 years ago was made in the USA and had a plywood base. I am a big American,300lbs. I guess a big man from China is about 130lb. because that's about all it will hold without modifications. I give the product 0 stars and don't recomend.

Good seat with a good appearace due to quality construction although the hinge that holds the back fells weak. The hinges may appear weak because I am a 245 lb. man but this is a BIG MAN seat so it should be able to handle my weight. The bottom needs more cushion.
