Good Item I bought this item and it works great. Very easy to install. No problems so far. June 10, 2012
Light Duty Light This is a low cost, light duty light. I knew it was on the low end of the scale when I ordered it. I just needed to rig a quick set up to place a bow light on my folded in trolling motor so I could fish late and run in after dark. It works well as I build a wooden holder that fits over the trolling motor with a rubber band and is stored under the bow most of the time out of the way. Good use in my Jon boat. I would pay for a better light if I wanted to replace a fixed bow light on my larger boat. June 5, 2012

It depends what you are screwing into. For mine in an aluminum boat, self tapping screws worked great, but if there is room under the mounting area, i suggest using a small bolt and nut mainly because it is more secure after miles of boating and trailering. What ever you are drilling into, be sure to use stainless steel or brass to provent corrosion.
