peace of mind These really work great but rember two things do not over fill or you get to clean up messy grease off your boat and trailer. Buy and use the covers for the same reason. I have used these for many seasons and have yet to have bearing problems but I also completely repack my bearings every three years or 6000 miles. August 13, 2006
Please do not purchase I had a horrible time with this product to the point that I had to scrap them both and go back to the factory stock hub covers. My grease gun grabbed the zirk and would not let it go. I ended up bending the diaphram on the first one removing the gun. I took the other to an industrial supply house to get another grease gun fitting and then we tried it on the other on the same thing happend. I ended up breaking the second trying to remove the grease gun fitting . . . I do not recommend that anyone purchase this product March 26, 2009
Bearing Buddies These would have got no stars but you have to give one at a minium. Just like the other guy, put grease gun on and filled the one up with grease and could not remove the gun nozzle. When I finally did get the nozzle off the zerk fitting the whole thing fell apart. Leaving the housing attached to the wheel hub and the spring and pressure plate cover and the snap ring in my hand. Then tried to get the housing out of the wheel hub to return it, boy that was fun. I had to use a pipe wrench to turn it and bang it with a hammer to finally get it off. I will return these to BPS and will never buy this "cheaply" made product again. If you want to save a headache by Fulton brand. Twice the cost but you will not have any problems. I should have know by how cheap the price of these were. March 12, 2011
Great for trailers I installed these on my Lowe boat trailer. I was missing a dust cap on one anyway and had trouble finding a new one that matched my other one. Decided for a little extra money to go with these whether they work great or not. They will at least keep the dust out. They were simple to install with a 2X4 and hammer and they look great. Would give them a 5, but I don't know how they are going to hold up. Either way they will be better than what I had. April 3, 2013
