The ball bearing swivle works very well. I like the size #0 on my Carolina rigs. I like the solid rig because it will not damage the line like a split rig could.

I didn't see that much of a difference from the old styles. They seem to stick even when new out of the bag. hope you have better luck.

I have used other swivels of this type that use a split ring and have had my line slip into the opening and nick my line causing me to have to retie more often. Well with these that is no longer a problem and an added bonus is line twist is no longer a problem either. I don't care how good you tie your knot at times under severe conditions they will slide and with this excellent product that is one less thing to worry about, another excellent Bass Pro Shops product.
