I have bought these in the past and was very happy with them, but unfortunately this time there seems to have been an issue with the manufacturing. I have checked all of the swivels in the packages I purchased this time and the tang at the end of the clip is just slightly too long to allow the so called Fast-Lock to work properly.

Product looks good, easy to open the clip but the bearings are low quality. Out of 12 size 4 swivels purchased only 3 would spin smoothly. The rest had serious "rough" spots and sometimes locked up solid. Those that passed the rotation test with my fingers all worked well for salmon trolling. There is potential here for a good product but they really need to improve the quality control so the poor units don't make it into the public.

Swivels appear beautifully made, but beware! One swivel broke at the swivel barrel where the ring hooks to it, material seems to be way too thin. Break happened while I was rigging tackle in my garage the day before fishing vacation. I would have been very upset if I'd lost a good fish due to this issue. No confidence in swivel so I re-tied all tackle with different swivels that I trusted.

We have broken 2 of these, one with a big saltwater striper on, pulled the snap apart under probably 40 pounds of pressure with a large fish on the other end (for an 80 pound test model, it should have held).
Another broke after a small amount of contact with rocks on a jetty, broke right at the swivel.
I have been pretty disappointed with them overall.
