Bass Pro Shops Baitholder Hooks 4.6 5 34 34
Perfect! Perfect hook for trout this time of year. I am getting my stuff stocked up and ready for the lakes that turning over here. Last year, same product helped me catch a-lot of fish. Strong and very sharp. Would recommend to all. December 18, 2012
great! these hooks are great and you get alot for your money (40-50pack) and cheap! just because its store brand, i was satisfied. it cost the same to get a 10 pack of the big brand names like eagle claw. two thumbs up January 3, 2010
Best Purchase Ever Awsome hooks I've landed 25 lbs salmon with them. I have tried more expensive hooks that have failed. October 16, 2013
One of the best I have ever used Bass Pro Shops baitholder hooks are one of the best hooks I have ever used. They are sharp and strong. I have pulled up 10 to 15 pound jacks, 6 pound drums, catfish, blues, snappers etc. They hold up very well under pressure. Compared to more expensive hooks, these hooks rank in the same class. Would highly recommend. December 9, 2014

A:
The baitholder hooks are more for live bait. For these grubs i would use a EWG 1/0 size hook.

A:
These hooks could be used with the soft grubs, they are not weighted so the bait would not sink.

These hooks are just as good as the big name brand hooks. Performs just as well, just without the high price. Compared to some brands you even get more hooks for less the money. Good Luck

Yes, these hooks can be used in saltwater but, since they are bronze coated they will rust quickly if not cleaned of properly after bieng used in saltwater.

A:
Yes, any hook can be used in saltwater. Some finishes hold up better in a saltwater environment (Duratin, Seaguard, Nickel, Stainless Steel), but bronze hooks like the snelled hooks you are asking about are used quite a bit in saltwater. Like any item used in a saltwater environment it is important to rinse with freshwater after use, this will prevent corrosion and extend the life of your equipment.
