Nice new & improved design I have used the Pic for many year and found it very helpful in resolving "professional overruns". But, the new and improved design is even better. It has a larger hook end, threads into the housing to keep it secure and has a loop hole to add a strap to keep it handy. Very useful product for anyone using bait casting reels.- March 18, 2011
Great tool to have I spent an hour sittin on the bank tryin to clear my backlash cause I left my pic at home (dumb I know) when I did get back to my pic it only took two min to clear it. This should be mandatory in any tackle box if you use baitcasters. true the hook will straighten out on a bad knot but its well worth the time you save. February 1, 2008
Baitcast pick Have had to use it a time or to would not be with out it . August 18, 2014
handy little tool my fishing buddy always seems to get substantial snarls with his baitcaster so i bought this pick for him. he scoffed at it at first, but a few untangled snarls later and he was a believer. a must have little tool, it can be used for a number of other tasks as well. save line and get untangled quicker. It would be much better for this than it's intended purpose, but thanks for the idea. At least now, I have a good use for this thing!

This product is not intended for this. There is a small hook at the end to hook into backlash loop.
You may bend or break product.

Yes small enough but not really made for that. Because the point is curved and probably fragile
