This is the best way to add a little extra weight to a bait without having to use a slip weight and peg, you can cut the weight get the fall rate you want and you can insert it anywhere in the bait to get the fall action you want

These weights are a practical idea and are easy to use. I use them not so much to improve my casting distance, but more to improve my fall rate so that my plastics sink faster. Make sure that when using a Texas rigged bait you put the nail weight in between the point of the hook and the eye of the hook, between the two contact points of the hook and the worm so that it doesn't affect the action of the bait.

this is a good quelty pack of weights great for gettting your bait to slide back under a dock if you put the weight in back of worm
