The picture of the product shows grooves for breaking the weights down to a smaller size. These aren't present in the package I got. You can cut them down with some side cutter pliers. For the most part, they are too heavy to use without being cut down. I have to at least cut them in half to use them properly.

You can cut to get the desired fall rate. Hides inside body of whatever plastic you are weighting to provide natural look. No better or worse than the more exspensive name brand.
