Worm Weights Excellent Weights for Plastic Worms. When you need a little weight these are the best. November 26, 2010
great this is a good quelty pack of weights great for gettting your bait to slide back under a dock if you put the weight in back of worm July 27, 2007
Great Weights! How can something so simple be so important to have in your tackle box you ask? Well if you're a finesse worm fisherman you'll definitely want to have these every time you're on the water. By simply inserting these nail weights into the head or tail section of your favorite worm, you'll instantly change the action and fall rate. This has proven to be deadly while wacky rigging finesse style worms. It causes the worm to glide and fall away from you as it sinks. This has been a very productive way to get the bait under docks and overhangs where fish usually wait to ambush their next meal. Try it on your favorite worm and see how it can change your luck! Good Weights These weights are a practical idea and are easy to use. I use them not so much to improve my casting distance, but more to improve my fall rate so that my plastics sink faster. Make sure that when using a Texas rigged bait you put the nail weight in between the point of the hook and the eye of the hook, between the two contact points of the hook and the worm so that it doesn't affect the action of the bait.
