I bought 2 for my fishing buddy and I. We both love them. Comfortable and easy to wear while fishing. Doesn't get in the way when you are casting.

I don't even know I have this life preserver on, it is that light and comfortable. I cast, pitch and flip for bass without any restriction in shoulder or arm movement. I fish 2 days a week and put it on when I launch the boat and take it off when I get back, load the boat and climb in my truck for the ride home. Great product.

I remember reading in the owners manual that the inflation will work in temperatures below "I think" 40 degrees but the time it takes to inflate will be slower. If my memory is correct above 40 degrees it takes about 3-5 seconds and below 40 degrees 7-10 seconds to inflate. Personally I am not out in temperatures below freezing and would opt for an conventional PFD in temps below freezing...above 40 and your good to go.A:Â
yes 40 deg f or above for full inflation manual says oral inflate partway if under 40 and do not use when freezing(due to co2 expansion )

I wouldn't think so. Unless you're in sub zero weather all the time, which means you'll probably want a Type I vest anyway.Details:Â

I am 5"10 and 240 lbs. I have went out when the morning air temps in the mid 30 with a very heavy jacket on plus my underclothes. The strap was easy to adjust out and back in when I took my heavy jacket off and switched to my light jacket.A:Â
Yes, the vest is adjustable for almost any size.A:Â
The vest is sized to go over your clothing, they are adjustable so it may beable to accommadate the bulky clothing.
Fits chest size 30"-52".

they all run the risk of accidental inflation, but they are pretty good...as long as the sensor stays dry.
