I bought this life jacket for my husband, who often launches his boat and fishes alone. I worry that he might some day slip and fall on a boat ramp or in the boat. This light weight vest could easily save his life, if he should hit his head or be unable to swim to safety. It will inflate when it is immersed. He says he will wear it, and I feel much better about his fishing alone.

I haven't used my new Life vest yet, but from it looks like I will feel safer while operating my boat, using the vest.

Feels like you have nothing on. But they work very well. My son dropped one in the water. Worked as advertised. A little pricey to rearm.

we found testing them manually was difficult it was not clear to us from the instructions that we had to remove all the velcro once inflated manually they appeared to be ok. however they were difficult to get back together. the description of them is misleading . they appear to be light and comfortable to wear we hope we never haveto inflate them in an emergency.
