I bought this set specifically for doing outdoor shrimp boils and it works perfect for that. We always bring it on camping trips we have with all our friends and when its our night for cooking dinner we do a shrimp boil with all the fixin's and it is the best. We have yet to use it for a turkey fry, but absolutely love it - I would highly recommend.

This is a high quality set that includes the pot, turket stand, lifting hook, and a thermometer. I like that the pot is tall and narrow which will save you from having to use as much oil to cover the turkey.
