I bought this jack with “Proprietary SEACOATTM “to replace the one I had since 1989 which just recently gave out. After about a month’s worth of use in inter costal waters, I noticed extensive corrosion. I understand that salt water will do its thing over time but a brand new jack with seacoat soupier corrosion protection should last more than a month. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
