I like the quality of these pliers. They are a bit small for pulling hooks out of larger fish. The lock tends to get stuck sometimes when you don't expect it. I like the fact that they cut braided line at least now while they are new/sharp. I think a larger size would be better for the type of fishing I normally do in saltwater with stripers/flounder, etc.
Overall, I think they are good.

These pliers are the light weight, cut line well, and will fit in the mouth of small fish. I fly fish for bream and these are great for removing small flies from the throat of a fish. For the money they can't be beat.

I posted a question on here also about the price difference between the catalog and internet. But to move on. These pliers are a finer needle nose (which is very nice considering sometimes a wider needle nose is just a little to wide still). They are stainless, spring loaded, lock shut (tight enough to clip to a jacket but maybe not enough for a tshirt), and the braided cutters in them work great (have the browning needle nose pliers but the tungsten cutters do not work as well as them as the braided ones do). All in all a great buy for which ever price they may be.
