Rated 4 out of 5 by Cutting forceps These are called Olsen-Hager needle holders in surgery. I have used this style for years in the Emergency room and at deliveries for 30 years. The surgical grade products are far superior but at $150 for German stainless steel, these are an acceptable replacement. Our group of 6 Canadian fishing buddies each has a pair we wear clipped to our life vests. They are invaluable for cutting line and retrievieng lure deep in the throat. We have eve used them to suture incisions. Look for the 8 inch size if possible. June 3, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by So-So Performance The cutters on these don't really work well with braid. I had some better quality ones that did very well for a long time. Please get a better quality and offer those as well. May 10, 2011
