this whistle is small and compact. it has a whistle, dry storage for like licinses, match striker, signal mirror, compass. much better than a fog horn i think. it also comes with a string so you can wear it around your neck

In my opinion, this compass/whistle/matchbox is just a gimmick. The whistle on the one that I returned didn't work, and the compass was unreliable.
I suggest spending your money on a real whistle, a real handheld compass, and a real matchbox.
