I bought these scissors because I needed something to cut braid line, since that is my primary type of line I use. They work fine. I also use them on mono and fluoro when I make my leaders.

I have owned these scissors for two years and they have peformed flawless.Stay in my boat year round and still look and work great.

I bought these specifically to cut braided line but all they do is fray it and chew it up. I would definitely not recommend.
