What type hook is best....

Details: 
.......for this size of toads? Weighted or non-weighted?
I've never fished with toads before.

The Ribbit hooks sold here in size 4/0 fit the lure perfectly. I'm sure the 5/0 would fit, but the hooks may be closer to the legs and impede some action. I only need the 4/0 for where I fish.

Unweighted will allow you to run it on top easier. Weighted if you want it to dive quick when you give it slack. It depends on how you want to fish it.

search: Stanley Jigs® Ribbit Double Take Hooks. i use the 5/0 unweighted hooks for boogieing these frogs over lilies and heavy cover. i have bought other hooks for less money and others with the same cork screw idea on the front of the hook but have found these are the best for this set up. make sure not to strip the plastic when screwing the hook into the frog or you will be switching the frogs out quickly.
