The cooler is perfect for party boating! - certainly a great deal. The only thing I could have done without, is the rather unsightly Large Mouth Bass logo, in vivid color, right in plain view, with this homely fish staring up at me as I get my icy cold beverage out of the cooler!!

I've had my Bass Pro Shops 48 Can Soft Side Cooler through some rough canoeing/camping trips, and this cooler has been dependable on all of them. It's compact for easy storage and actually works better storing dry food sealed in containers than it does cold items. However, I recommend if you're using it to store cold items, leave the bags of ice intact; this way your ice doesn't melt too fast, which saves your cooler from sweating and leaving a wet mess everywhere it lays. On the plus side, the shoulder strap is a nice feature, and the mesh pocket is great for placing items such as binoculars or waterproof cameras. Not a bad cooler for the price, and not too bad for camping or canoeing.

We bought two of these coolers at our local store just before a week-long camping trip. The attraction was how nicely they folded down and used little storage space when not in use.
Unfortunately, only one of the two coolers (carrying the same load) made it out the door while we were loading up. The zipper burst apart while being carried out to the truck.
On a positive note, the other cooler did just fine, and survived the trip with flying colors. Seemed reasonably sturdy for a soft cooler and kept things cool nicely, even though we were experiencing 90+ temps.
I would try to return the broken one, but after a week away, I'm not sure I can find the receipt.
My recommendation is: if you think you'll need two, you should probably buy three- hopefully two of them will be functional!
At this price, I'd be willing to buy another in hopes of getting a sturdy one.
I decided to rank my over-all impression as "average" because the surviving cooler did a nice job, which balanced out my disappointment about the one that broke before it even left my house.
