With a wide variety to choose from, you can not go wrong. I purchased these not too long ago, and have caught various species(crappie, bass) in minutes. Great price, excellent product.

These are great if you have the right technique for fishing with them . Took them out on the lake and caught crappie, trout and bass by cycling through the different baits and there is definatly one for every trip

Try matching the lure color to the tint of the water. If that doesn't work, try contrasting to the water. When fish stop biting try switching to a new color this may cause the bigger crappie to start biting.Answers

The best way I've found to use these jigs is to tie them on, cast them out and let them sink to the bottom. then, slowly pull up on the rod, allowing the lure to bounce off the bottom as you retrieve. With a little practice and patience, you'll be able to find that sweet spot and reel in some big crappie.Another option is to bounce it slowly off the bottom by lifting your rod tip up a few inches and let it jig in place. This works best when fishing in heavy cover or off of a pier or dock.

I catch bass, bluegills and Crappie on them as well as saltwater fish too. I have not found a fish that does not love the mix of tails and colors in this kit.Top 50 Contributor

I have found that the bluegills that I catch rally like the darker colors, browns and blacks, but the chartruese and the reds also get their fair share of fish when you are using them.Top 50 Contributor

In Rhode Island, I found the best colors were the oranges, reds, and golds--especially during late Spring/early Summer. However, with a kit like this, it's easy (and cheap) to experiment with different combinations.Top 50 Contributor

Try to match the tiny baitfish, flys, and even worms. choosing similar colors will increase you cast to fish ratio1- Tight lines
