I bought two pair of this model for myself & my son for our boats. Great for cutting line, small wires, & thin metals. The spring really helps when you have only one hand to use. The only down side like the other reviewer stated was the small size of the handles. Could be a little difficult to get enough leverage to cut thicker materials. Good item for the price.

These 4.5" pliers are good for cutting line, however they don't cut through a fish hook.
