Rated 4 out of 5Â by CFLBob A Very Good Option for Adding Rod Holders
I put two of these on my Starcraft aluminum boat. They were easy to install and do the job well. They hold the rods with no issues, but are best with lighter spinning outfits. Plug rods and bait casting reels might have a harder time fitting. Measure your reels and rods before buying.
With these, I put 6 rods in the space of a 3-rod holder that was on the boat when I bought it.

Very sturdy product. Has the extra slots to hold pliers between rod holders. I was at first disappointed when I thought that hardware wasn't included until the stainless steel screws fell out from somewhere, haha Easy to mount and they work great. Would buy again!

durable and easy as pie to install, no one can have too many, they are strong enough to hold on to my salmon net at 30mph without breaking off.

Strong! Will hold rod even while salt water trolling. The utility slots for pliers, knife, etc a plus. I purchased four mounted across the stern and they look and function great. Reel slots fit well. If they made the holders with an extra inch between rod tubes they would be perfect.

They are designed just for storage.A:Â
you can use them for trolling as long as you want to troll with your rods in the upright position. I would not recommend trolling any more than 1 rod at a time with them to avoid tangles.Details:Â

They can be, it might take some time to get it mounted right though. I have some on a receiver hitch on the front of my Jeep for when I go to the OBX.A:Â
No, this is not made for an SUV.A:Â
These are short for easier boat install. I wojld not use this on my vehicle. I would want longer holders for surf rods with longer grip ends. For a boat they are perfect.
