The Bass Pro Shops 30-Quart Propane Turkey Fryer has a roomy 30-quart aluminum fry pot with handles and lid to give you plenty of room for frying a turkey up to 18 lbs. The pot sits on top of a powerful 58,000 BTU cast iron propane burner and regulator enclosed in a sturdy metal stand. Rectangular stand includes adjustable safety brackets to keep the pot safely over the burner where it belongs. Fryer package includes a turkey rack and lifter hook for safe handling and a 12'' deep fry meat thermometer to check the cooking progress.  Worry-free, CSA approved safety timer helps you keep track of the cooking time to eliminate guesswork. Also works great for boiling large quantities of food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fryer It went together easy, and works great. Cooked 10 lbs of shrimp the first weekend I had it. Doesn't come with a basket and has a max cooking timer of 15 minutes. Both can be delt with pretty easy. April 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for making....BEER! I am a home brewer and bought this to use to brew my beer in. The kettle is the perfect size for a 5 gallon batch of beer (kettle is 7.5 gallons) and the burner doesn't have any problem bringing the wort to a boil. I guess it works to fry turkeys too. ;-) My only gripe is the safety timer. While it is critical for turkey frying, it makes using the burner for other things tricky. January 24, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product, slow shipping We have purchased three of these, one at the store and two online. The ones that we got online took forever to get home... The last one took over 20 days to be delivered. Please reconsider changing to Fedex or UPS, 20 days is way too long...isn't standard shipping supposed to be 7-10 days??? January 2, 2013

Whats the difference?

What is the difference between this 30qt turkey fryer and this Bass Pro Shops® 30 Quart Propane Turkey Fryer 38-614-983-15? I only see an extra marindae injector, which isn't worth $50 difference. And it has less BTUs.
