Rated 2 out of 5 by RichardGV Very mediocre This rod isn't all that great. I got it to take on my bike because its small and I wanted it to work with my baitcaster. Its very hard to use, as its very ahrd to actually aim it at all. When casting, it doesn't go where you want it to ever. The casting distance is well......horrible. It works, but not well at all. Rated 5 out of 5 by JoeDee great for packing When I go hiking aside from all the normal essentials there are three things that must be in my backpack. Especially if I know there is going to be a stream, pond, waterfalls, or any body of water. one will be a tuffy, two will be this rod with a blue f 700. And number three does not need to be included in this review. June 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Phishaholic Not just for children I bought this rod for My 4 year old son, when the rod arrived it was more then what I was expecting. I grabbed one of my reels and was surprised of the rod action. Both my son and I have enjoyed the rod, I bought a second rod to keep in the boat for the day that a replacement is needed. Rated 4 out of 5 by ULfisherSA Good rod I matched this rod with a BassPro tinyLite spincast reel for my 3-year old daughter. It worked absolutely perfect for a year. My daughter is now 4 and a half, and this is her go-to rod (her choice). I use it too. I believe it would still be working perfectly. However, a friend borrowed it and snapped the tip. When my daughter and I used it, it performed very well. I will be replacing the broken rod with the exact same one. December 11, 2010
