2500-lb. 2-Speed Trailer Winch
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to pull in a large boat that doesn't want to pay the price for an electric winch. The 2-speed comes in very handy when the boat nears the front of the trailer. It takes the weight load and disperses it so it is easy to crank in. Also this winch has a free spin meaning if you need to back off or untangle rope, cable or ribbon it places gear in neutral to make it convenient to do so.

missing parts or defective
the brake handle "wobbles " on the shaft, and does not stay engaged with the brake spring. The one recieved is either missing some parts, or is defective in design. I will have to return it.

This winch sucks
I used this winch a few times with no strain on it and it worked ok when I went down the Florida keys and had to put some strain on it it chewed the teeth off the main gear and bent the main shaft leaving me stranded on the ramp. I have a 21 ft cobia open fish

It broke a part the very first time I used it.
I was stuck in the water unable to winch up my Ranger. This product has a very poor design in the brake department. The locking mechanism needs to be redesigned. Don't waste your $ on it.
