This Dual-Drive Trailer Winch by Bass Pro Shops® has a 2000 lb. capacity, one-piece solid steel gears and gear pawl. The dual drive feature eliminates frame torque and allows for an even load distribution. The Winch's galvanized finish ensures toughness. 25' winch strap and stainless steel hook. Power-Grip handle for easy cranking. Universal mounting holes.
2000 lb winch, seems to be fine put on last weekend at Lake Erie, only problem was the handle had a bolt and nut that 'stuckout" maybe 1 1/2" so when turning it hit a part of my trailer. Thankfully I was able to use my old handle...so far so good.

BPS 2000lb winch
had to replace my fulton XLT1400 winch on my Procraft trailer. Tried the BPS 2000 and I am impressed. East to install and well made. Like the higher gear ratio 4:1:1. The 2000 is a bit overkill for my boat, but I like the power and the easy cranking handle. Definitely recommend this winch.

Not a fan of the strap
The original winch that came on my ProTeam 190TX's trailer used laminated gears. They are garbage. The original was a single gear 1100 pound winch. This one is dual gear 2000 pound capacity. Unfortunately the hook wouldn't go through the eye far enough to allow the safety clip to engage. That and there isn't a second, shorter safety strap like the original had. So I had my wife cut the new hook off the new strap and sew the old hook (and safety strap) on the new strap. I guess I could've swapped the straps but the new one is in better condition.

The winch is a well made sturdy boat winch. I love the handle. I have only loaded my boat once, but did experience a litlle torque. However, the torque was much reduced.
