Rig on a jig head?

Details:
Anybody try these on a shaky head or other stand-up jig head? Would it work or is it too heavy? Ideas? I've recently become absolutely addicted to shaky head worming and slider head worming.

A:
Oh yeah, they work wonders on a shakey head as well as any other way you want to rig them. Just match the color to the color of water you're fishing as you WILL have the right color.

How about for trout??

Details:
Rainbow trout season opens this week around my parts. I was thinking about cutting a Stik-O in half and putting it on a 1/0 EWG worm hook. Probably louder colors work best; 'bows love pink.

Anybody go for trout with theses Stik-Os? Thoughts?

I think these would be to thick for trout. I've used a worm that was 3" and 5x smaller width. But unless you have giant trout these are to big.

These are way to big/thick for trout around my area. The 3" may be suitable to try. Anything is worth a try - you may find a "secret" bait.

I think the colors vary, I got 2 kits, about a year apart and the "staple" colors were present in each one, watermelon, purple, black, chartruese pepper, pumpkin pepper. Each kit had other colors that were different though. Every color worked in the pre, mid and post spawning period.

This BPS Stik-O worm kit is the best value you will find in bass fishing. Similar to Senkos, but much more durable. Load up--you'll catch big bass anywhere in the US.

You get all the "staple colors" Like Pumpkin/black flake, Watermelonseed, Black, Natural worm, Chartreuse/flake and some 2 tone's as well. I ordered 2 kits and they each contained the same staple colors but had different secondary colors, I think that these kit's will vary depending on when you order them.
