I wore this parka and the bibs 2 weeks ago in a fishing tournament. We blasted off at 7:00 am and it was 24 degrees. Going down the lake at around 65 mph. I couldn't feel any wind penetrating this outfit. This is the best fishing gear that I've came across. Plus I had the Save Phase also. This combination is a must have if fishing in cold and raining weather. Plus it holds in heat too.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great so far!!!!!!!
Purchased bibs, parka & wind liner all at seperate times (due to price). However they've been awesome! today running 65mph in 25 degree weather never cold or cool, just right. The group is unreal! Wish i'd purchased these several years ago. They are very breathable, body temperature stayed the norm. With other products ive often gotten too hot and would sweat at times. They seem to be well constructed and durable, hope they last for years to come. Overall great buy would recommend to anyone who spends anytime crappie fishing during the winters.

Last year, 2012, I fished in Alaska & Canada. On both trips I ended up in drenching downpoars. Although the fishing was fantastic my raingear was terrible. Promising myself this would never happen again, I stepped up to this 100 MPH Rain Parka. Now I can say, "Bring it on!"

I have not had a bit of trouble with my jacket. On some of the colder days a sweat sweater is all I need to keep warm and dry,Details:Â
I purchased the parka and the insulated liner jacket. The insulated liner has loops that should attach to the parka, but I cannot find anything that the loop would attach to so that the sleeves would not come out.Answers

the pro qualifier is a good jacket but the material is of lesser quality after long exposure to water it will begin to leek also it has less pockets and the 100mph is more roomier.Top 500 Contributor

100 MPH jacket and bibs are the heaviest fabric BPS builds jackets from. Removable hood. Neoprene inner cuffs. Pockets designed to resist a lot of water pouring down on them. Bibs have velcro-adjustable waist on them.Current 100 MPH jackets seem to run true to size. However, the bibs seem to be running about a size small. May need to size up.
The Pro Qualifier bibs have a hem to waist waterproof zipper, which is convenient and makes them easier to put on than the 100MPH bibs - the 100MPH bib is made to be put on once and kept on. Pro Qualifier jackets seem to run smaller so best to size up. Pro Qualifier jacket has stretch nylon cuffs instead of neoprene, fabrics in jacket and bibs are lighter than 100MPH, but still fairly heavy. Fixed hood on Pro Qualifier jacket - doesn't stow easily, but can kind of roll down and loop into hanger loop inside neck - I don't think it was designed to work that way, but I've seen people do it.
Both jackets accept zip-in 100MPH liner jackets.

Can you tell the difference between the 100mph gear and the qualifier gear?Answers

The closure ease on the 100mph is worth the little extra money. Go with the 100mph gear and you will be glad you did.Answers

Is there a women's equivalent of this product or sizing of the men's product that is appropriate for women?

It is unisex fit and sizing.Top 500 Contributor

Given, these are sized for a man who is at least 5'8" tall. Usually if you are buying for a woman, she should try a size smaller than she would wear in women's clothing. So if she usually wears a size Large, try a size Medium - should fit her fairly well.I noticed this year that the 100MPH bibs are running a size smaller than previous years. Jackets seem to be running normal size.
Everybody fits things a little differently - if you're near a store, make a point of trying them on.

Too heavy and hot for 65-75 degree temps?Answers
Top 500 Contributor
A:Â
100MPH gear is made for deep sea fishing in extreme conditions - way too warm for reasonable temps. You'll be uncomfortably warm.Would recommend Pro Qualifier for when the weather gets bad (Gore Tex is generally pretty warm), or consider the Pro Light jacket and pants. Those are super lightweight and offer pit zips and are packable.
A:Â
Not for that type weather. They have lighter GorTex rainsuites for that type weather.A:Â
Not real heavy, but not good for 65 - 75 temps. I'm afraid you'll be too hot.
