This rain suit keeps dry and warm, yes it's expensive but well worth it. Do it right the first time, buy quality and always be satisfied. On bad days this is MY gear whether I'm in the boat or on my Harley!! Look at the pics, I'm wearing it!!

I am based in South Africa and have been waiting and saving a long time to get one of these outfits. Recently bought this jacket expecting it to be one of the best. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The jacket itself is actually excellent but the problem is with the cuffs. It must be the worst designed cuffs I have ever seen!!
As a result of the bad cuffs it is impossible to fish in the rain and remain dry! Simply does not work if you are damp and wet up to elbows!! Anybody who fish for bass knows your hands are aiming upwards a lot! like when holding a worm/jig rod - then the water simply streams down your arms!!
I honestly believe it is unacceptable that a jacket of this price range does not have properly designed cuffs. (after all they did put it on the parka?)
I am giving it 2 stars, seems harsh but it simply does not work. I fish in the rain a lot and ended up damp every time. Its impossible for me to return the jacket so I will probably have some neoprene stitched in to the cuffs or something.
Would give it 5 stars if the cuffs are fixed.

Used gear (complete system) on cold rainy saturday. Fished all day with no problems, coat, liner, bibs, and gloves. Must say never noticed outside temp because I was so warm and toasty, quite comfortable ALL day. 100 mph system is a GREAT investment for those types of days. A definate must buy for serious anglers..... Also available in 3x too!!! Thanks Bass Pro for such a great product. Will definately tell all of my friends about it.

Overall pretty good. I wish there was a way to roll up the hood into the collar, or a pocket to store the hood when not in use.

i didnt get any moisture through zipper at all! i fished through rain sleet and thunderstorm with a fast boatride!

This is a YKK aquaglide water proof zipper. It is the standard of waterproof zippers and used on a lot of high end rain and snow wear. You should have no reservation about not having a storm flap – Typically rain jackets with a storm flap do not have a waterproof zipper.Details:Â

There is a neoprene sleeve that extends past the gore text fabric sleeve. The Gore Tex sleeve velcro's down on top of it. The neoprene gives a compfortable elastic seal, and the heavier fabric is able to fasten down tight too.Answers

In addition to the above unanswered question by the other poster, I'm curious how this suit does in heavy extended rains. I'm particularly interested in this suit because the full 100mph suit looks to be a bit much for warm days.Answers
