I purchased this sleeping bag for my wife to replace the wool blanket, down comforter, cotton blankets and assorted other sleeping accoutrements when we went camping in Maine in May.
This bag is perfect for her. First of all, it is very warm. It's thick and is flannel lined. It comes with a fleece liner that I consider an afterthought. It's got big zippers that don't get stuck and a additional material for a pillow. It's really warm and comfortable.
this bag is not for hiking. It's huge. It's bulky too and there is no cover. If it gets wet, you're in for a long wait until it dries out.
We set up in a cargo trailer with an inflatable bed. It's really perfect for us.
I wish I got one for myself. It's $20 cheaper now so maybe I should.

Rated 4 out of 5 by muskieloser1 warm and gigantic
I do alot of late season camping and my other bag wasn't doing the trick late/early in the season. I bought this bag specifically for this time of year. It has all the features that I was looking for in a bag. Flannel liner, hood, you can stuff clothes in the hood for a pillow. And it is definitely warm enough and spacious. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is because it is absolutely huge. I didn't realize how big it is from just the description. And it doesn't come with a stuff sack. You roll it up into a cover with 3 straps, all attached. luckily, I take a boat to the campsites because I would hate to have to carry it for a long time. Anyway, it is by far awesome value.

Rated 5 out of 5 very pleased
I was happy to get this on sale and would suggest it it to anyone. I first used it in a popup camper on a damp cold night and didn't even have to use the inner liner that came with it. I am a big guy and had plenty of room in it.
