I just got my new cover and trailered 2500 miles without a problem. The cover stayed tight, kept the boat dry, and performed as expected. I recomend this cover for the Avalanche

Rated 1 out of 5 Replacement Boat Cover
I replaced my original Tracker cover with one of these. I was totally disappointed in the new cover. My Avalanche sits on a boat lift on a cover dock. This cover lasted a total of six weeks before the tie down straps on the cover ripped away. I never used this cover on a trailer pulling my boat, just sitting on the boat lift. (My original Tracker cover lasted 4 winters before it needed to ne replaced.) I've returned the cover asking for a refund and ordered another Tracker cover like the original. One thing I should add is that once the cover broke loose, it damaged the finish on the boat in an area about 6x4 in. sq. that needs to be repainted. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I purchased this Exact fit custom cover for my Tournament V-18 a while back. When I received it I was not impressed to say the least. The cover material was very thin. I installed it on my boat and found that it was not an exact fit. It did not fit well at the back of the boat where the motor is. The straps where spaced too far apart and one strap on each side was directly over the wheels of the trailer making it difficult to strap to the trailer without modifying it. I ended up returning it for a refund because I did not think it was worth 289.99. To me this was a semi custom fit cover at best.

I recently purchased the Exact Fit Custom boat cover for my Tracker Tournament V18 boat. I received it only to be abit disappointed in the thickness of the material. I installed it on the boat and ran into a couple of more problems. Once installed the cover was resting tightly against the front of the motor. In my opinion there should of been an inch or two between the motor and the cover. Another thing was the positioning of the strap mounts on the cover. There was too much space between each strap. One strap on each side was directly over the wheels making it difficult to strap to the trailer without modifying the trailer. The overall fit was not an exact fit. This cover was more along the lines of being a semi-custom cover at best. I was very disappointed in the quality and overall fit so I returned it for a refund.

a company called Dowco has a terrific custom fit cover. It's not listed in the BPS catalogue but you can order one from the store closest you in the Marine Dept.Provide the clerk with the year, make and model of the boat. I also was asked to provide the hull ID #. My cover cost about $330 and is the strongest, and heaviest one I have ever seen.

Given that there is a size listed for my 2005 Tracker Pro Team 175, and all of those boats have a bow mount trolling motor, does this 'exact fit' fit over the trolling motor and if so is it reinforced in that area?Answers

My Dowco boat cover, ordered thru the BPS marine dept ( in a store ) fits the boat perfectly from bow to stern. It does tend to sag in the bow around where thetrolling motor is. When it rains, water tends to pool up there. I corrected the problem by inserting a pole seat into the bow seat holder. THe cover doesn't get stretched beyond its capabilities and no water pools up. The Dowco cover by the way is the best on the market. Hope this info helps.

I reviewed a Dowco custom cover that needed to be purchased via a BPS marine service dept. I provided the store with the boat hull ID number. THe Dowco is awesome. VEry heavy cover and lots of tiedowns. THe covers listed in the BPS catalog are all junk. Dowco claims to custom fit a cover for any boat.I have a 17 ft, Tracker and the cover cost me $330. which is a great investment to protect a $15000 boat.

I ordered and received a "exact fit" cover for my Bass Tracker Pro 16. After installing the cover, I noticed that it only had 4 loops for tie down on each side. the photos for the product shows 7 tie downs per side. i also received some 12 foot straps(4 each), which appears to be for straping completely around the boat and cover. the instructions are hazy. I expected this to be a transportable type cover. tell me what I got...l Richard....Answers
